Head and Neck Cancer UK

Head and Neck Cancer UK (HANCUK) is a registered Charity, established in 2017, following a meeting of sixteen survivors from around the UK, who were invited to give their views on availability of treatment options within their respective regions; together with support for survivors and experience of awareness of the condition. It was agreed that a Charitable organisation should be formed to advocate for the patient.

HANCUK is an organisation established to fulfil an advocacy role within the Head and Neck Cancer community throughout the United Kingdom. It’s aims are to raise awareness of Head and Neck Cancer; campaign for fairness and equality of access to treatment; increase knowledge of the availability of treatment; investigate the disparity of the availability of treatment across the UK and provide a vehicle to enable patients and carers to access support and advice.

There have been a series of International, National and Regional events which HANCUK have lead or participated in, together with input into National Committees and investigations of proposals by commercial entities. The HANCUK website (www.hancuk.org) provides information for patients and carers whilst signposting support available in the regions.
